Countdown Timer
A countdown timer online is useful when the finish time is already decided. Remaining time is computed from timestamps and never shown as a negative value. Sound is optional and plays only in this tab if you enable it.

Selecting a strip fills the countdown fields. It does not start automatically.
Countdown or stopwatch?
Use this countdown when you already know the limit: a 10-minute reading window, a 25-minute work interval, or a 1-minute check. Use the online stopwatch when you need to measure how long something actually takes, including lap times.
